Briar burst into Tai's room, tears pouring down her face. She slammed the door behind her and curled up on his bed, hugging his sweatshirt to her and burying her face in his pillow, her body shaking with her sobs.

Scarlet ran after Briar. She got many looks from guys. "Brair!" She called and Ran over. She softly youched her sholder. "Please." She said Crying. "I'mso soryy. I'll do anything, Please fporgive me."

"Get the hell OUT!" Briar yelled, choking on her tears. She couldn't stand the sight of the one she loved. She jumped up and ran into Tai's bathroom, slamming the door and locking it. Her sobs could be heard through the door.

Taihphel blinked, trying to comprehend what was going on. His sister was crying, there were two girls in his room, they were yelling love and hate in both directions. His sister was in the bathroom, the other girl that he didn't even know was right by the door, and all of this happened in a snap. He raised and eyebrow, a lover's quarrel, huh? I really should lock the door next time, he thought to himself before looking at the new girl with questioning dark eyes. "So you're Scarlet, huh? I was going to have a chat with you before this came to be, but it would seem I'm a bit late on the take up. Mind explaining to me what's happened here?"

Weakness on both ends, Taihphel thought to himself, immediately grasping what kind of love went on between them. Letting out a sight, he made his way to the bathroom door and knocked, "come out, please, love won't come, and happiness won't come if honest eyes don't come to face one another. I know it'll be hard, but bare with it, just a little while longer, won't you, Briar?" he whispered through the door, putting his forehead against the glossy wood.

Scarletr moved towrds the door. Trying to get out of here. She could no longer live with herself. She looked at her feet and stared for her room.

Taihphel groaned quickly and quietly to himself before he grabbed for Scarlet's arm. His dark eyes gave off a slightly irritated appearance as he spoke with his soothing voice, "if you go now there'll be no fixing this, ever."

The sadness in his sister's voice stung Taihphel slightly. He looked at Scarlet, and then back at the door. He closed his eyes, wondering which would be more disastrous, to let Scarlet out of his sight, or to have to speak to his sister without being able to even look at the door. Putting his hand on his head, he chose his words once more. "The ones you love are the ones that can hurt you the most. But when they beseech to you forgiveness, you'll likewise bring them to tears when you won't hear them out. To understand weakness, to understand strength, to be able to hold one another throughout it all. That is what it means to love. I know it was hard for you to go back, to hold her. Seeing both of you in pain, it's obvious the love still exists. Love becomes a true power when two get through all no matter how tattered, how broken they are. When two can look each other in the eye and find a smile, even when a flame surrounds them. That is the strength that I wish both of you could find. There is a kind of truth and a kind of beauty in happiness after hardship. To taste bittersweet dark before ever sweet milk," he spoke carefully. "But please, if sadness wells and you cannot show yourself to the ones that love you, there is a pain in both. If you let the ones that will forever hold you do so, a lesser amount of pain is bound for both. Please, come out, I can't let you stay in there alone and in agony forever," he said, his eyes flickered with a slight weakness for but a moment before their flame stood strong once more.

"Tai, she cheated on me! And you want me to just walk out and talk to her? No! She knew, she knew what it would do to me and she did it anyway! Then she tried to blame it on him! Like he forced her to make the decision. Just make her leave me alone!" Briar's voice was raw with pain and yet-unshed tears.

"The pain I see in her eyes is the same the pain I hear in your voice, I told you, there is a pain in watching a heart tear, as well" he whispered, "and...if the two of you continue along this path..." neither of you may ever come to love again, and maybe neither of you will ever live down this feeling, isn't that right? he thought to himself as he closed his eyes, clenching his fists tightly for a split second before loosening up entirely. His eyes still calm, his posture still gentle. It wasn't his place to go there, it had never been his place to see the worst outcomes. He knew, he was bound, life was not his to foresee, and yet something told him he was making a mistake when he looked at Scarlet with an apologetic smile before asking her to leave and then adding a few words of his own, "if this works out somehow, if this works out, never hurt her again, I will not allow you to have her show me her tears again after this," his voice was hard, but not cruel. Turning he walked back to the bathroom door, putting his hands against it, pressing ever so softly, "but in the least, let me in, I'm sorry, but I can't leave you alone, not now, not ever," he whispered, "please, at least, maybe just for my sake, grant me that," his speech was broken as he was speaking without much thought, but it lost neither it's composure nor the soothing ocean like quality it had.
