Bradley had returned to the beach after visiting Carter, and was sitting there, just watching the day go by. about two days had passed without him moving from one spot or speaking, as he watched day blend to night and night back to day. The Semi-Jock sat there as he scanned the air for any sign of life, seeing nothing but seagulls, flying high and low, searching for food in this endless rat shit that is the world. As he sat, Bradley remembered an old song they had sung at his old school.
"When people run in circles it's a mad world... mad wor" He paused, looked up at the sun as it rose for the third time since he had been at the beach, and screamed, running towards the water. Halfway there, his phone rang. Beep Beep Beep. The boy looked at it and saw an emergency number from the hospital. He flipped it open, looked at the inside, put it to his ear, then, as the receptionist said "Hello?" he closed it and put it back in his pocket. If something had happened to Carter, he didn't want to know.
The phone rang again, and again, he ignored it. Then again, and once again, the phone was met with the same response. Ignoring it. Eventually, the phone rang for the fifth time, and Bradley finally answered it. "Hello?" he said, in a shaky tone, paused for a moment, and said "OH FUCK, i knew that bastard would get himself into trouble. I never shouldve left. I'm comin right back." He paused again, and waited for the receptionist to say something. She simply said. "get here soon. He's critical." These words echoed in Bradley's ears as he raced down to his car, and up the streets to the hospital, earning his name, Hellfire. Halfway there, he got another call. This time, from someone at the school. ((Enter here?))
