Stephanie ran to the beach, frustrated. When Stephanie reached the shore she peeled off her sundress and dove into the water feeling as if she was in her own world. She surfaced in the water and took a big long breath then started floating on her back. Her eyes darted from cloud to cloud and she tried to imagine what each cloud was, like in movies. No such luck. She didn't feel happy, She felt more betrayed then usual. A mere 5 minutes later Stephanie swam back to shore and dried off then put her white and yellow sundress back on. She sat down on a rock just to see a figure walking towards her in the background.

Ariana walked to the beach her bare feet now hitting the sand as she held her sandals, the sand squishing between her toes seeping around as she walked. She had a bright blue tank top on showing her emotion for today which says she was calm. Atleast for the time being. Instead of her skinny jeans she wore short shorts, the wind hitting against her skin. Ariana walked past Stephanie stopping before turning around her hair today was again up in a bun unlike to cascade down her back. She bent a little over to get a better look at her." Hello something wrong?" She .

"I guess" She murmered and continued looking down. When she finally looked up she saw a perky girl, wearing bright blue tank top and short shorts. "On second thought, Nothings wrong" She corrected herself. Stephanie had a bad start to a bad day but she was determined that she wouldn't let it get to her head. She was going to turn the day around. She stood up and brushed the sand off her dress then tried to smile at the girl. "I'm Stephanie" She introduced her self, her words a bit shaky.

Ariana smiled brightly, Stephanie. That was the girls name.
"Hello Stephanie. Im Ariana Malaria! Nice to meetcha." She laughed looking around feeling the breeze and the clear skies." Beautiful day isn't it? Not one to be sitting around bothered. Ah hopefully im not a bother, i wish nothing of that! Ah no im rambling again. Sorry." Ariana said sheepishly holding one arm behind her back in habit and also because of her nervouness, and she shifted her footing.

"Nice to meet you to" Stephanie replied softly. Looking at Ariana she was seeing the clean cut edges of her face, automatically seeing a mirror version of herself beside Ariana. She could see how different they were in her mind.She was amazed. She had never met a person like Ariana in all her days of living, yet they had just met, and strangely she just wanted to hang out with Ariana. Nothing more nothing less. She wasn't concentrating on Ariana anymore, but now she was focusing on what was happening around her. Stephanie looked all direction, a habit she had formed over the years. "So beautiful" She muttered and was lost in her own world. The next thing she knew Ariana was apologizing. "What are you sorry for again?" She asked, recalling.

"ah i was rambling again." Ariana sheepishly rubbed the back of her neck with a ringing laugh. She noted herself that the girl could get lost in a daze, but that's fine with her. She looked towards the water seeing the dazzling blue waves crash against the shore of the beach before turning back to Stephanie with a small giggle." I tend to ramble alot when im with people. I thought i got rid of that habit but Old habits die hard i guess." She smiled rubbing one hand up and down her arm that she clapsed behind her back.

"I tend to do that too, all my friends called me the talking doll that never turned off" She said and giggled a bit. Stephanie was a shy girl on the surface but in the core when you got to know her she was nowhere like that. She turned her head to the water and her eyes were locked there for a brief moment. Whenever Stephanie saw something new she would try to figure it out. This would be the first time she had seen an ocean this beautiful. "I've got a few really bad old habits" Stephanie added.

"Oh really what kind?" Ariana asked sitting on a smooth rock not to hurt herself, well not alot of rocks are smooth she just picked the smoothest one she could find next to her.
" Oh and by the way how long have you been here Stephanie?" She asked another question being a curious person and wondered what went on in this new girls head. Ariana felt a need to get to know her like she did with everyone she met, Ah she missed Jenna.

"Well I remember that when I was younger some thing happened..." She trailed off and started remembering that day, how it affected her. All she remembered was how her eyes darted and how the person had looked at her. "Well long story short something happened so whenever I look at somebody I analyze them. Like, OVER analyze. Also I will avoid eye contact. I ramble but I think everybody does and last but not least instead of biting my nails, when I'm nervous I nibble on the skin of my index finger" She admitted and showed Ariana that finger.
"Oh I've been here for a couple days already" She replied quickly.

Something happened? Maybe Ariana could relate perhaps.....She subconsiously pulled up her tanktop in the back but knew already that her scars were well hidden already.
"Oh i see. Ive been here since the first term dance. I dont have a lot of friends yet but will you be my friend? Silly question yes." Ariana smiled holding her hands in her lap looking over at Stephanie with her multi colored eyes.

"Uh-sure" Stephanie said and laughed softly. She was afraid to open up too much to somebody and then crack her mind trying to figure out what happened and why they weren't friends anymore. It's happened multiple times and Stephanie was doing all she could to change that. She looked over her shoulder and saw a flashing light. Maybe it was just in her mind, but maybe she actually saw it. Stephanie didn't know. She turned her head back at Ariana and tried to forget about the flashing light, like it was just a figment of her imagination. Stephanie couldn't help but take another quick peek.

Ariana looked at Stephanie with pure curiousity seeing her glance somewhere at random points of time." Is everything....okay?" She asked a bit slowly to her seeing she wasn't really paying attention to her and something else was on her mind she could tell." Seems like somethings wrong..." Perhaps she was nervous? Or something? What was she looking at?

"Yeah, I just saw something and I didn't really know what it was" Stephanie said and tried to laugh off the subject matter. "Nothing's wrong, didn't I tell you I was having a rough day?" She asked, and looked down. "You know what, It doesn't even matter. I have to go" Stephanie turned and walked along the water. The wet sand felt kind of akward on her feet but she didn't care. She looked back at the light once more and noticed it was just a flash light left on. All of that worry for nothing. Stephanie suddenly felt guilty, and upset. She just took the beggining of her beautiful friendship with Ariana and threw it out into the ocean.

Ariana frowned in wonderment. Had she said something wrong to disturb her?
"Ah I see...." She mumbled looking at the valiant blue waves rolling throughout the ocean and her fingers went to wear her bikini was on underneath her shirt and she shook her head to herself before dropping her sandals. Ariana started walking on the mushy dry sand sat down the sun beating down onto her. She let the sand slip through her fingers before getting a bucket of water and started making a sandcastle.....She looked back over to where Stephanie was while she did this and paused. What did she do to make Stephanie not like her?
