She smiled at the few memories she had in her previous school, before replying "No not really I think school's a breeze but I just didn't think I'd really stay on this year, my mum wanted me out" she replied, smile disappearing at the thought of her parents.

"If it would hurt someone if I told said secret, I would guard it with my life" he said these words and meant every one of them. There was no hint of sarcasm on his face, he was serious. The one thing that Alex would not do was cause someone else pain that did not truly deserve it.

Steffy considered what he said carefully before taking a deep breath.
"Well the truth is, my biological mother is Laura Brecker, the actress so she wants me to follow in her footsteps, but my Dad wants my brother and I to take over his company and for that to happen, I had to finish school. My parents are divorced but i guess Dad won out this round" Steffy, stopped not wanting to bore him anymore with her family problems. She looked up at him, wondering if he was gonna burst out laughing or what.

Alex laughed and grinned "thanks, you really think so, Everest could be fun you care to join me?". He had climbing trees and things. You could almost always Alex relaxing in one of the large trees near campus but he was not going to correct her.

"ice-cream on Everest, it's a date" Alex remarked jokingly. He had been out for a walk being anti-social and but social seemed to have found him not that he was complaining. He was having fun and felt like he had made a new friend which did not happen very often.
