Hamish had no idea why he was running to his room. But that didn't mean he wasn't going to stop running. As soon as he spotted the familiar door of room 304, he unlocked the door, and almost darted inside, as if something were chasing him. DAMMIT ALL. Hamish noted that Dyniste was in the room. Why, god, why? He thought, even though he's meant to be an Atheist and all, but I'm in a rush to finish this thread here. Oh crap, I blasted a hole through the forth wall. Oh well... "I'm not going. Don't even try, Dye." Hamish said, popping his photo album on his desk.

Dyniste set down his pen again and turned around to stare at his roommate with intimidating narrow eyes, their usual light green turned cold and hard as he glared. He had intended to hold it until his roommate gave in, but the minute he saw the figure, the effort was lost as he thought it was a bit of a cruel way to do things. His eyes lightened, and a grin made it's way onto his face as he plotted and planned. He turned his head, diverting his eyes and covering his mouth in the usual fashion as he laughed. "Why ever not?" he asked, through his amusement, his eyes twinkling.

Shivers were sent down his spine as he realised his roomie's cold, hard glare. Hamish was pretty sure Dye was going to lash out at him... All of a sudden, it was like a mood swing of happiness. "Well...I...I dun-dunno, I j-just don't want to g-go. I'll be a...a ner-nervous wr-wreck."

"Sorry, did I scare you?" he asked, turning back toward his roommate. "If partying makes you nervous it's all the more reason to go. This is probably just the school's way of welcoming us before we have to go about with our daily masses of work and what not. Additionally, they're suppose to help you just sit back, relax and enjoy yourself, it's good to know how," he smiled in a kinder way, "besides, if you're too high strung around your classmates now, who knows what'll happen later on..." Dyniste trailed off as he looked up at the ceiling, the concept in itself sparked much amusement within him. " I have to ask though, what made you reconsider going?"

"What made me reconsider?" He repeated. "Well...W-well, it wasn't....wasn't like I was g-g-going to um...going to go in the...in the f-first place. And um...I don't really know anyone...Except you and um...yeah....And everyone pr-probably already h-h-has someone...so uh...g-go with...so they don't have to um...meet anyone."

Dyniste shook his head softly and slowly such that his golden locks wouldn't be effected too greatly, "nope, plenty of people will be going alone. They're just meeting each other right now, not enough perfect pairings yet, I promise...or could it be?" he looked up at his roommate, his eyes flaring with passion, "has a young maiden asked for thy hand? Art thou afraid to reply? Or could it be? Hath thou asked for the beautiful hand of a young lady, only for a painful shot to thy delicate heart?" he asked, as he got out of his seat in excitement, slowly approaching his roommate.

Hamish could tell it'd only be a matter of time until Dye found out about Kemon, and hiding her away from him would look conspicious. Even though Dyniste would make an assumption... "D-Don't g-g-go Sh-Shake...Shakespeare on me!" he exclaimed, backing away as his roommate came closer. "I h-haven't ask...asked...um...anyone....and uh, no one's asked me...an-and d-don't go all...g-go all..."romance" on me wh-when I tell you th-this... I, um...I-I met a girl. BUT NOTHING HAPPENED."

"This will not do, this will not do," Dyniste said earnestly, continuing to approach, "this one must meet this child, he must see for himself what doings thou could call nothing with such an uptight tone. Thou must chase thy lady through and out the ballroom, take thine maiden's hand in the brilliant moonlight by the sea, speak in her fine ears softly and kindly, then share thy virgin lips in a sweet kiss 'till day shows and the moon shines no more," he finished with exaggerated motions and voice.
Dyniste blinked, his roommate was too soft, he was probably about to scare him out of the door. Letting out a soft sigh, he pushed back his bangs swiftly with his hands, staring at his roommate once again, "or so I'd like to say. At least you know of one other, go, have fun, that is not a wish but a command, objections will be overruled, and 'no' simply will not do. I'll have none of it. Now ready yourself as best you can without entering an uncomfortable state of mind and being, you must be calm and meet the people you otherwise could not. If you need assistance it'd be an honor and a pleasure. But the minute you leave this door tonight, you are to fend for yourself. Any questions?" he spoke in a bland tone, absolutely and completely bored, the passionate fire in his eyes had died and he retreated, falling back into his chair.

Hamish sighed. "F-Fine, I'm...I'm g-going. Happy?" He opened his draws taking out a pair of jeans. (We'll leave it here, Cause I have to go XD)

Dyniste smiled cheerfully "that I am," he whispered, though not truly satisfied. He did not voice this, but he knew there was a young lady he had to meet soon, after all, this was his roommate, his soft and helpless, and yet somehow charming, frog of a roommate. His eyes lit vaguely as he looked back at his drafting and scripting. He personally did not plan to go to this dance, for he himself had much scripting before him; additionally, meetings were never of any good, they called for too much displeasure as everything seemed to go wrong from the start. But he did not voice this part, either.
