The binds in room 301 had been pulled shut, the room was dark as the potentially bright florescent lights sat idle, the three beds stood upon the ground, vacant. A thin white light streamed in through the door, highlighting the only occupant in the room, sleeping at a desk, as was his custom. Slowly, Seiinkes entered the room, the chimes hidden beneath his coat ringing softly with their usual gentle tone. He grinned, a cold can of soda in each hand. Both of which had already begun to develop a mist outside their aluminum shell. The black haired demon smirked at his sleeping roommate, his mocking blue eyes flared with silent delight as he threw a can toward the other before flicking on a set of lights, setting the large room aglow.
Siatys was awake in an instant, avoiding the aluminum cylinder by a hair, so close that he could feel the cool mist as it passed him. It hit the ground with a quiet clank, an obvious sign that the can never would have hurt it's target. Even so, the annoyed elder's immediate reaction was to flash a terrific glare at his roommate; a spark of amusement fought it's way to the surface of his narrow dark eyes when he saw those two strangely defined flames flickering with their usual intimidating smile. The younger returned the ever so warm welcome with a wider, thinner, curl to his lips. His distinct blue eyes became mirrors, reflecting the same amusement on a much greater level.
Once the two had exchanged their silent greetings, the elder's sleek figure made it's way over to the can, picking it up and then opening it in one smooth motion. The younger sat down beside his own bed, as the elder did the same afterward. And so the two tall, well built frames sat directly before each other, enjoying their drinks as they spoke with their eyes alone. A strange conversation that only got deeper, stranger, and harder to comprehend, the conversation between two became a conversation of three. The emotions communicated were incapable of being described in words, the remnants of the faded third character, that had so much longer before been "slaughtered", now had no fear in speaking, the amused aura grew even when the invisible wall that said they were merely acquaintances remained. Each thought of the other as a toy, each understood that the other thought of them as a puppet. A strange bond between two strange men, created by nothing more then four walls, two corresponding beds, and a single spectrum of gray that was a shared truth.
The two stared at each other, blinking rarely as their conversation became more and more of an enigma. Eventually though, the elder's flame gave way and he ran his hand through his hair. The younger gave the same mocking eyes with a slight flash of boredom. The elder gazed back with a slight glare before removing his glasses and drifting into his trace-like slumber. Seiinkes approached him, stroking the messy blond hair, "I swear to god one day I'll crop this mass while you're in mid-sleep."
"I'd like to see you try." was Siatys's last sharp response of the day. The younger looked at his elder strangely, as if before him was a long haired beast of some sort. He'd never been able to understand how his elder could tire so easily and at the same time stand to sleep so peacefully, yet his eyes laughed at the very thought of it being any different. His boredom grew, though, and he left the room seeking for entertainment elsewhere.
((Pathetically short in comparison to what I love to do. Now then, let's see if our new "roomie" dares enter x3 I'm evil, I know, but really, I love the interaction between my own characters, but to be honest, both of them are impossible to approach.))
