Briar slid into her room and dropped onto the bed, letting herself sink into the mattress. Her bed seemed warm and welcoming after the brisk morning air. It was a Saturday, so she didn't have class, but she had gotten up early to go running anyway.
((Anyone want to jump in??))

Noelle went up the stone steps, looking down at the tiny piece of paper in front of her, getting stares from the Four Oak girls. She stood in front of room 203, deciding weather or not to knock. She just shrugged and opened the door.

Briar looked up from her bed, startled, as the door opened. She looked at the tall girl in the doorway and nodded. "Hey. Who're you?" she asked. She didn't like people, but she generally didn't judge until after she'd met someone, so she tried not to sound rude.

Noelle looked down at the green eyed girl, placing her hand on her slender hip. She slid her over sized sunglasses on top of her head and stared at the girl with her Turquoise eyes. Noelle always came off as confident and a bit bossy, but she never intended it, It was just the way she was. After analysing the girl for a short moment my bow shaped lips curled up at the ends.
"I'm Noelle Blanchard, and you?"

"Briar." Briar replied, looking the girl up and down. "They didn't tell me I was getting a roommate." Inwardly, Briar sighed, wondering how this would turn out. She truely didn't like people, and a roommate was the last thing she had been expecting. But hey, maybe it wouldn't be too bad. It wasn't as though she had to spend every second with the girl, but it did mean that she no longer had a sanctuary to disappear to, unless Noelle wasn't in the room.

"Me neither."
Noelle said, starting to pull her Louis Vuitton luggage inside the room. She looked in the almost empty closet and smiled.
"You wouldn't mind if I used extra closet space? would you?"
She asked, turning around to look at Briar.

"Nope. Feel free." Briar rolled over on her bed to watch Noelle unpack, still sizing up her new roomie.
((Kinda short, sorry))

Noelle smiled and went over to the door and pulled in another matching suit case. She opened them up and a flurry of color exploded out of the tightly packed compartments. Noelle was never denied what she wanted, so she had a lot of clothes. She started stuffing them in the closet haphazardly, Noelle had never been a neat freak.

"Uhh, if you want the whole closet my stuff'll fit in the cardboard box under my bed," Briar commented dryly, almost completely serious. Almost. She was...interested...to see how she and her new roommate would get along.

Noelle heard the sarcasm in her voice and stood up.
"I'm sure you can fit your things in there too."
She said, leaving the suit cases on the floor and she began to wiggle out of her jeans. Noelle was never a shy person, so she didn't mind changing in front of a complete stranger. She looked around for a pair of her old best guy friend's boxers and her brothers Oxford sweatshirt. When she found them, she slid it on and took of her shirt, putting on the sweatshirt, catching a whiff of her brother and a pang of homesickness hitting her. She ignored the feeling and flopped down on the bed and turned to face Briar.
"Sooo, what fun is there to do in this place anywhere?"
She asked, a perfectly arched brow raised.

"Oh, I really don't care. I kept my clothes in a cardboard box for years." Briar commented, averting her eyes as Noelle changed. "Fun? Depends on what you consider fun. There's the beach, of course. It's a weekend so we're allowed to go to the mall, there's the gym and the pool, and the lounge. I don't know."

Shafia walked up the brick steps to see that there was a lady sitting by a desk in the front. "umm....excuse me." She said in a hush tone. "What may i help you with dear?" The lady asked ever so nicely. "I'm new here, so ..umm could u tell me where i would be able to find room 203." She said trying to hold up the paper with the room number on it straight. "Yes go up the stairs and it should be on the right side." the lady said lifting her glasses to see if she was pointing to the right direction. Shafia thanked her and made her way towards her room.
She was just about to knock when she heard some chattering. She lifted her hand and was about to knock but put her hand down. * Should i go in or should i knock. i mean i have a key but that would be rude.* She thought to her self. Shafia lifted her hand and turned the door knob to open the door. when she walked in she saw two girls, one on the bed and the other standing by the closet. she walked in hesitantly closing the door behind her. "Hi, I'm Shafia. I'm new and i was also assigned to this room." she said with a smile but on the inside the nerves were eating her up.

Briar looked up, silently groaning. Another roommate?! "Hi," she said, hesitantly. Then she realized that she wasn't being very nice to the girl, who looked significantly less confident than Noelle. She gave the girl a warm smile. "Hi, Shafia, I'm Briar, and this is Noelle." She said this with a warm, friendly tone, but inside her head her mind was silently screaming at her, asking her how on earth she planned to keep privacy with two roommates. She had secrets that she had been able to keep secret so far, but now? She didn't know, and it scared her very, very much. But she hid all of this deep inside her like she did everything else, and put on a friendly face. After all, it wasn't their fault.
((We can totally start a new thread in the Dining Hall, but we should get this one to a stopping point first.))

Shafia walked to her bad and out her bag down. She saw Noelle putting her stuff in the closet but was to hesitant to ask if she could share as well. Instead she left her things int he bag for now and pushed it under her bed. She turned towards the girls and took a deep breathe "Um.... Do you guys know where the dining hall is?" she said finally getting the courage to ask.

((Thanks for that, Shafia! You're really getting the hang of the third person nicely, by the way. )) "Yeah, I can walk you down there if you want. I'm getting a bit hungry for lunch anyway." Briar offered. "You can follow when you're done packing if you want, Noelle." she added to the other girl. ((By the way, Noelle, feel free to post a closer here and follow us to the Dining Hall if you want.))
