When Zhiehkinst caught eye of the vending machines she gave a relieved sigh. She walked cheerfully up to them, she pushed a couple coins from her pocket into the machine and got a couple cold cans of soda in return. In an instant she turned back to Scarlet and offered her the drink with her ever happy smile, "as a token of thanks," her voice was soft and almost shy, but her expression proved otherwise as she explained herself.

Scarlet half smiled. "Thanks.." She said softly and meekly. She opend it and mouthed the ABC's as she took of the cap. She ended on Z. "Great." She sighed and sat on a chair near by.

Zhiehkinst looked at Scarlet, a strange kind of curiosity, flickering like a flame in the wind, made it's way to her wide brown eyes. Her smile became a curious one as she held the cold drink in her hand. The outer aluminum had begun to mist notably, giving it a white taint. Her small hand grew cold and so she shifted the can into her other, breathing lightly on the former until it returned to it's warm state. "Smile little, but always happily, straining a smile is a no-no," she chirped. As like a bird's song is known by the bird at birth, there words were ebbed into her mind and heart as simple truths and her radiant smile returned at full force.

Zhiehkinst continued to smile her loving smile, considering the best way to explain herself. She'd been told to already hear people out, to always lend her ears. But at the same time, her ears, just like the rest of her being, had been protected and shielded away. She stared at Scarlet for awhile, trying to take her in, but nothing came to her, as nothing ever would. She knew too little about people. Even so, she spoke, no hesitation entered her voice after she had begun, "I was told to always lend my ears, but never my voice, so...I could listen to your story...if you want," she continued to smile happily, hoping it wasn't too bland.
