Zhiehkinst looked about, at the sky, maybe she'd flown away, like a bird, at the ground, maybe she'd scampered away as an ant. She looked to the trees, her eyes only saw the patterns of the leaves, she looked to the trunks, her eyes only saw the roughness of the bark, she looked to the grass, and only saw a stringy mass of kelp. The trees became jellyfish, the area within hidden, kept away from reality. The sky became the ocean, the ocean the sky, and she spun in one spot, laughing. She searched in a fit of happy giggles, grabbing one trunk, with a hand, spinning to the other. Her new playmate had been taller then her, many people had been taller then her, looking up was something she did so often, and yet, as she looked upward into the canopies she saw nothing but neon bubbles dancing with the flow of the water. She ran about to the beat of her tunes, searching, wondering. Had she gone to the school, a sunken ship in the other direction, a place where a person could find an entire school of fish and not recognize a single fish to be one? She sighed, it was too far away, too mysterious, too big and hard to approach. It had disrupted the land and the creatures within when it sunk to the depths of her sea. She looked to the sun, shining as it broke the surface of the ocean, bringing light and life to the abyss. She skimmed the area once more, frolicking about before tiring and flopping to the ground. "I give up," she said with a giggle, "you're too good. Come out come out wherever you are," she laughed happily.

Katana dropped silently out of the tree. "That was fun!" she giggled, carefully using Lyric's voice, although her mind had not yet returned to the state in which it was meant to live.

Zhiehkinst laughed happily, catching her breath before pouncing to her feet. She stared at Kate for awhile, her head tilted to the side, she blinked a few times over. They'd only parted for a few moments, they'd only known each other for a few minutes. Whatever was different was just a new detail. That was all. Something she'd missed in introductions, perfectly natural to her. In her fit of giggles she jumped on her new friend, spinning around her as she had the trees, giggling all the while, "fun, fun, fun," she chirped happily, "let's play again, let's play again, maybe this time I'll win," she said through her excitement.

"You want to seek again?" Kate asked, trying to force herself back into the feel of Lyric. "Or hide?"

Zhiehkinst laughed happily, "I don't know? What do you want to do?" she asked leaping behind one tree and then the next wondering where Kate had emerged from. She stared into the bellies of the jellyfish with curiosity, there was so much beyond it's beauty, so much life that she could not see. She stared through the leaves, toward the endless sky, "where are you, no, were you," she quickly corrected herself, "anyways? Did you turn into a bird, fly into the sky? Or into Monty and hide in the grass?" her wide brown eyes stared, unblinking, into Kate's eyes, curiosity filling them. Shape shifting, she thought to herself, "so cool!" she continued in an energetic tone, admiration replacing curiosity.

Kate giggled, hiding her discomfort. "I was in the tree. You looked right at me!" she giggled, pretending that she was surprised she hadn't been spotted.

Zhiehkinst laughed at herself happily and she began to prance about in excitement once again. Constantly, she stared back into the tree from which Kate claimed she had come from, expectantly. Patiently. As she frolicked about she looked back at Kate, part of her attention still directed at the tree, "Lyre, Lyre, play with me," she chirped in a singsong tone, "hide and seek is fun is fun," she chanted, "I'll seek, I'll seek," she continued, dancing about to the beat of the songs that played her mind, "and then we'll play another game, another game, another game, and then it'll be your turn to choose," she smiled, turning back, delight flickering in her childish eyes.

Kate giggled a girlish giggle. Girls like Ekin tended to pull out the more mature in her, not the less, and as a result she was having a hard time staying in character. "Alright! Close close the eyes!"

Zheihkinst smiled, "and hide hide hide," she said, spinning and closing her eyes. The sun was warm on her dark hair, and her world became a different one, "ten..." she began from the top and began to count downward, "nine...eight..." she continued to spin, her eyes were still closed as she continued, a new world began to morph around her, she could feel lit, "seven...six..." she stopped spinning and sat once more, tottering back and forth in dizziness, "five...six..." and so she began to count upward, "seven...eight..." she let herself fall back on her back, still speaking the numbers, marveling in her new creation, thinking to herself how she would sketch it out later, "nine...nine?" she questioned to herself, "eight?" she opened her eyes and tilted her head, "um?" she questioned, "ready or not, here I come?" her voice held a hesitant voice, "I'm totally not cheating," she said as she began to pace.

As Ekin counted for the second time, Kate crawled into a pile of leaves at the base of the tree, expertly piling them back over her, so all that could be seen of her was her dark eyes, which almost looked like small dark leaves themselves. Once again, she had a clear view of Ekin, and she watched her spin, then sit down dizzily, and Katana smiled to herself.

Once more Zhiehkinst began her search. To the sky, to the bark, to the ground. Spinning and searching, thinking and wondering to herself all the while. Thinking about how beautiful all the details were, wondering to herself where her companion had gone. Once more, the grass became a life, the world expanded significantly around her, and she turned about in delight. Looking in irrational places, and then places only half logical. As she was kneeling before a rock, she looked up just in time to catch sight of a white winged butterfly. She let out a gleeful squeal and began to pursue the beauty, admiring it's graceful flutter, she began to mimic it. Swinging her arms about and letting her sleeves flutter around her arms, their fluent motion made up for her lack of grace as she ducked and jumped like her new white friend. While she was at it, her sleeve caught on a twig and for the second time in a day was sent tumbling to the ground and her eyes began to water and the butterfly left her sight. She landed before the pile of leaves in which Kate was hiding, she let out a soft whimper whine, wiping the newly developed tears away she looked around, feeling like she had entered an entirely different area. She turned to the pile of leaves, staring, picking around at the details, and then catching sight of something different. She tilted her head sideways, staring into those dark eyes before becoming familiar, remembering what she had forgotten, remembering she had been seeking. She gave a happy grin and finished wiping away her tears, before giving a delighted squeal and saying, "found you!"

Lyric laughed a joyous, bell-like laugh. "Wow, you are good at this beautiful game!" she crawled from the leaf pile, shaking herself off, and picking colored leaves out of her black hair.

((Aw, the cbox is being grumpy.))
Zhiehkinst watched as the being emerged, delight and admiration both blazing in her eyes, "and you're so good at hiding, I never would have found you," she chimed in with her childish diction, stretching the vowels in the word 'so' and the word 'good', not even thinking to question where she had gained these skills. She was, by nature, a child, all that mattered was the present, all that was, was the present. She giggled happily, all the while searching the air for gallant white wings. They were so distinct, so beautiful, she couldn't believe she lost sight of them. Come out, come out, wherever you are, she mused in the same sing-song tone, the smile never leaving her face. Her thoughts continued to bounce around and made it back to the girl before her in seconds. "Now what? What do you want to play?" her overwhelming excitement overtook her body and she once again began to frolic as she awaited an answer.

Katana shook her head. "Ooh, I don't know!" she exclaimed, once again forcing the character she was supposed to be. "Any ideas?" her voice came out with the tone of one upset, who claims not to be.

Zhiehkinst stared at the girl, peering into her dark eyes with a blank look on her face, listening to the voice, hearing displeasure, tilting her head to the side, and then forgetting it. Her face lost all curiosity and she gave a brilliant smile, she grasped her friend's hand cheerily and nodded toward the school, "let's explore, the ship, the ship, the ship," she said with much excitement, "and find treasure, treasure, treasure," she spoke with so much enthusiasm she probably could have filled a thousand glasses to half full. She grinned her silly grin, "and find Mr.Butterfly, and play more hide and seek," she began to take off, letting go of Kate's hand. She tired in seconds, leaning over she caught her breath, giggling all the while, "Lyre, Lyre let's play let's play, over there, over there, in the ship, in the ship, for sunken treasure, sunken treasure," she repeated the words to the beat of her heart, so they came quickly and began to slow, "let's go, let's go!"
