Vires was happy that she was smiling again, “Well I was a bit of a shut in most of my life, that’s attributed to my martial arts and violin ability,” he looked down as he spook remembering his friend that had stood up for him, “Well more or less.” This is the first real school I have gone to in several years other than that my life has been very good.” He smiled again before asking his question, “Where did you learn to ride like that?”

Ella looked at him and touched his hand "what does more or less mean Vires" she wanted him to trust her like she had trusted him. Ella smiled at Lucy proudly "well my mother taught me th basics after that it has just been me and Lucy working at it together i doubt i could do that with any other horse but we trust eachother" Ella shrugged smiling remembering the times her brother would watch her ride after her parents died.

“Well I had a friend that stood up for me and during the fight he was hurt severely and I couldn’t fight back, I guess that is why I learned so many different martial arts. I learned the violin because I have always thought it was a beautiful instrument and until then I did not believe that the word meant anything.” He looked away for a little, “then I learned parkour and that allowed me to free myself from my thoughts.”

Ella smiled "so everything you do has a use or purpose do you ever do anything just because?" Ella felt a little intrusive asking such personal things. She couldn;t help it she wanted to know as much as possible about Vires. "You must thing all i can do is horseback ride huh well to let you know i dance also it is hard trying to balance the two each require such different thing from your body"Ella nudged him playfully "i am sorry about your friend" she touched his arm gently.

Vires thought about the question, he had never thought about it like that, “Well I guess, nit really, I learned martial arts to protect those I cared for but in the process I lost all of them.” Vires’s eyes faded, the glow in them dissipating as he resolved in thought. He had lost everyone close to him because of his drive to protect them. “I guess I always thought it was a waste of time to do something for no reason. “So you say you can dance that’s amazing, I wish I could,’ he said never raising his gaze.

Ella looked at him sadly "you lost everyone i am so sorry" Ella bit her lip trying to think of something to talk about that was more cheerful. Ella smiled "thank you dancing is wonderful maybe i can show you sometime perhaps even a slow dance" she laughed lightly. "You know by the time im done with you you will be so adventurous and willing to try anything and maybe you can show me how to be so down to earth" she rolled her eyes a little.

“I will have to take you up on that,” he said a smile coming to his face. Vires did not want to dwell on the past and he certainly did not want to drag Ella down with him. He smiled at her looking into her eyes for a bit before speaking, “Well it’s getting late and you should be resting how about I walk you to your room?” Vires hoped that did not come across as him imposing something, as his true intention was more innocent, we simply wished to see her home safe and sound. Vires thought of others ways he could have worded his question as he awaited her response.

Ella nodded she was alittle tired "that sounds like a great idea" she stood up and linked her arm with his "ok im ready" she smiled sweetly at him. As they walked together Ella felt strangely safe and comfortable with him. "Thank you so much for all you have done for me you have no idea how much it means to me especially me being new here" she smiled and rested her head on his shoulder alittle sighing. Ella was suddenly tired and ready to rest in her wamr bed and escape into her dreams.

As they approached the girls dormitory, Vires paused at the door, “Well this is where we have to go our separate ways, as I am not allowed beyond this point,” Vires said stepping forward and opening the door for her, “I will see you at breakfast,” he smiled warmly at her motioning for her to go through the now open door. He was rather tired himself and going back to his room seemed like a wonderful idea right about now. He was unsure as to why he was so tired all of a sudden, but it felt good to be tired.

Ella smiled "well i doubt the girls would be happy about taht goodnight Vires see ya" Ella walked into her room and changed into her pajamas and settled into bed. Ella layed there thinking about how wonderful today had been and that she was going to like it here. Ella looked at her journal and decided to right in it before going to sleep she finally had something positive to write.
