Vires stood next to Lucy in the stables, stroking her mane with a soft brush, “Well I guess Ella won’t be here for some time then,” he said to the horse, he spoke clearly and without hesitation as if talking to an old friend. He brushed his hand down her neck and across the spot on her shoulder where she landed, “I she you are feeling better,” he said smiling a little. Vires continued to brush her for a little, he could tell she enjoyed it, “You don’t think Ella will get mad that I’m here, do you” he asked the horse as if waiting for a response, “I don’t think she will, I’m just keeping you company while she rest.”
Shortly after he had finished brushing her he walked over to a bench, sitting he pulled out his violin how about some music,” he said as he held the violin up in front of the horse. Vires readied himself and began to play a low and slow tune; unsure of how she would react to the higher pitched notes he made sure to avoid them. The first song he played was rather joke to him. He had begun playing Eponas song to see if she enjoyed it, hoping the low melody would calm the horse and in some ways make her happy.

Ella was still feeling a little sore from her fall all her muscles were stiff and sore she was supposed to be resting but she couldn't take it anymore she had to get away. The only thing Ella could think of that would cheer her up was going to see Lucy. Ella limped through the halls and out toward the stables. She was surprised on how much the excersize and movement was helping her stiff body relax soon she was hardly limping.
When Ella reached the stable something made her stop suddenly, music. She could hear the soft music coming from the violin and smiled Vires was here. Before going in Ella just sat and listened for a bit smiling andf closing her eyes. Soon she walked around the corner and put her finger to her lips signaling for Lucy to be quiet as she watched and listened to Vires play. He was wonderful she just stood and listened with out saying a word.

Vires continued to play, his fingers moving effortlessly to each note. He finished the song, and lowered the bow from the violin, he slowly opened his eyes looking over at Lucy, “so what do you think,” he said as he moved the violin from his shoulder and placed it in his lap. He wasn’t sure why he had asked the question, because he knew he would not hear a response, but It just seemed appropriate to ask what she thought, “do you think Ella would have liked it,” he said quickly after his first question, far before anyone could answer. He rose to his feet, stretching out his back.

Ella smiled bit her lip making sure she didn't giggle at him talking to Lucy he was as bad as she was for talking to someone who couldn't respond. Ella shook her head she was was a little dissapointed that he had stopped playing it was taking her mind off things. Ella would take any break she could get now she was banned from riding until she fully healed.
Ella admired Vires as he stretched and mentally slapped herself for looking at him that way. Ella could feel the warm feeling in her cheeks. She decided it was time to come out of the shadows. Ella snuck up behind Vires and whispered in his ear "i loved it" she stepped back and waited for him to turn around a sweet smile on hr pretty face.

Vires wheeled around on his heels as he heard the noise. He dropped his violin bringing his hand to guard position. After he reached full turn, he saw his “opponent” and was quickly taken back, his face became red and he brought his hands behind his back, “o…oh hello Ella,” he said stuttering, he was rather embarrassed to be caught playing to a horse, and by Ella of all people, ‘she must think I am weird, I hope she isn’t mad,’ he thought to himself as he stood there blankly. “Umm… how long have you been there,” he asked nervously.

Ella jumped back alittle "sorry didn't mean to startle you" she bit her lip trying not to smile. He looked so shaken and embarassed it was cute really. "Me oh not too long but you play lovely and thank you for keeping her company she gets a little antsy it was very kind of you" she smiled softly. she wondered why he was so defensive "any way who did you think i was" she laughed "i mean really i highly doubt i would do you much harm even if i wanted to" she spread out her arms and indicated to her petite body structure. "So what made you decide to come here?"

“Well I hadn’t seen you all day and… well… Lucy looked kind of lonely … and I missed you… I meant she missed you,” Vires was all shaken up he felt like a complete fool and he had no suggestion as to why. Vires stopped talking for a little and then took a deep breath regaining his composure, “Well thank you for the flattering remark, I would have played something better if I knew you were there,” he said reaching down and retrieving his violin from the floor. As Vires stood up remembered that her leg was hurt, “What may I ask are you doing out here,” he said in a he said in a playful yet in a strang way stern voice.

Ella caught his lip up but decided against mentioning it. Ella tried to speak multiple time but was interupted. finall waiting for a bit after he was done she smiled "ok so first of all thank you for being so considerate and caring uh for Lucy" Ella needed somewhere else to look other than at him. "As for the playing i liked the song you played it was soothing i haven't felt that at ease since i went riding" she laughed and shook her head 'i sound like riding is the only thing i have left wait it is' she thought sadly. "Ok so for the last question im alot better and i was going stir crazy in there so i needed some fresh air and i thought i might as well check on Lucy i wasn't going to be out long but then i heard you and..." Ella took a deep breath "sorry rambling but anyway you get the point" she smiled nervously at him.

“You heard me and what,” he asked taking a step towards her. He was intrigued as to why she likes to hear him play. He watched as she smiled nervously, this was really cute and he couldn’t help but smile, He looked dead into her eyes as he waited for her to speak, in truth Vires really did like Ella’s eyes, for some reason it calmed him, he enjoyed it and did not want to look away. He simply stared into her eyes waiting for her response.

Ella looked back at him suddenly nervous un sure of what to do or say. "I heard you and I knew that it was you playing so I was happy to see you again and your laying is beautiful it makes me feel better" she smiled ad bit her lip. Ella couldn't help but notice him staring into her eyes no one had ever truly looked straight into her eyes they were like an open book. 'He can probably see every emotion i feel stupid eyes' she thought but unable to look away.

Vires watch as she answered, what she said had made him happy. He looked in to her eyes and it was almost like staring into her soul. It made him feel very close to her, but he could tell he was making her uncomfortable and he moved away. He sat on the bench next to her motioning for her to sit next to him. “Please at least take it easy on your leg and sit.”

Ella didn't know how tense she was until she felt her body relax after he stepped away. After the realization he had moved away Ella felt a little dissapointed and felt a little colder it was strange how small things can change how she felt. Ella sighed "fine" she sat next to him "ok happy?" Ella smiled looking into his eyes again 'what is wrong with you girl snap out of it' her head screamed at her but her body wasn't listening.

Vires looked into Ella’s eye once more just watching them shine, ‘Wow there are really pretty at night,’ he thought to himself. Vires could feel himself relaxing and thought it queer that he was so relaxed around a girl. Just as he pondered this he thought to himself, ‘what if she is waiting for me to do something,’ his imagination ran wild on this topic, ‘what could she want me to do.’ He was rather frustrated at his lack of knowledge, but quickly found something to remedy the situation; he shifted his position on the bench to face her, moving his leg to the other side of the bench. “Would you like me to play for you,” he asked her with a smile on his face as he held up the instrument.

Ella watched him wondering what was going on inside his head he seemed like he was deep in thouht so decided to keep quiet. Ella couldn't believe how much had happened and this was only her first day. 'Why is he looking at me like that is something wrong' so many thing rushed through her head 'is he mad that i came down here.' Ella hated that she couldn't figure him out most guys were easy te all wanted one thing but Vires was different she liked that but it also made her nervous. When he asked if she wanted him to play she smiled her eyes lighting up "oh please"

Vires looked at her with amazement, she seemed so happy to hear him play and that astounded him, “well then do you have any requests,” he was very ecstatic when he said this, in some ways he hoped that she had something, but on the other hand what if he didn’t know what she wanted to hear. ‘Sure I know a lot of songs, but he was a far cry from knowing all of them. Vires prepared himself setting the violin in the proper position, and awaiting her answer.
