After he had dropped his stuff off in his room, George decide to head now to get some thing to eat. When he reached the dining hall he ques up and gets some food, he looked around at all the people eating and frowned, they all seemed to be in groups so George went over to an empty table and sat down to eat his food.

Alexa made her way through the dining hall with painful slowness. She listened to the movement, and moved around it, following the wall toward the smells wafting from the buffet tables. She followed her nose, successfully getting herself a bowl of macaroni and cheese. She continued along the wall, until she found a mostly empty table. But there was somebody at the table. "Umm, hi, can I sit here?" she asked sweetly.

George looked up from eating his food upon hearing a voice "oh erm yes, feel free to do so" He gestured towards one of the chairs "I'm George by the way" blushing slightly and inwardly groaning at his faliure to comunicate.

Alexa smiled and clumsily pulled out a chair and sat down. "Thanks. I'm Alexa, but most people call me either Alex or Lexi. I'm fine with whatever."

George racked his brains trying to think of some thing to say that didn't have anything to do with being blind in the end he said "how long have you been here, if you don't blind i mean mind me asking"

Alexa burst out laughing, a soft, bell-like laughter. "No need to be nervous. It's not something I'm sensitive about. This is my second day here. What about you?"

George smiled "thats a relief then" he paused to take a mouthful of food "I've only just arrived, literally only 2 hours ago". He took another mouthful of food "so do you know what is there to do around here" George asked with a smile

"Uhmm, I know classes start tomorrow, but I've only been here a day, so I don't really know," Alexa said hesitantly.

"I didn't even know that" George said eating some more food "have you signed up to a Drama class?"

Alexa swallowed a bite of macaroni and cheese, and nodded. "Yes. I was going to sign up for Drama A cause I don't think I'm that good, but my brother convinced me I belong in Drama B. What about you?"

"I signed up for Drama B. I used to be in the drama group at my old school" George said finishing off his food

George nodded "hmm well you'll soon find out, and if you're not thats why you are talking the classes"
