Note: If you signed up your character for Drama B or C, then they are in this class! Drama A students will have their class shortly after this one. If your charrie is in neither class, but you'd like them to join this class, make sure they see Ms. Morgan to tell her that they are a new student.
This class focuses on backstage work more than acting. You character is more likely to get an acting role if they join the other class. Class guides here: fouroaksrp.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=drama&action=display&thread=186
Joanne stepped back a final time to look at her new classroom with satisfaction. It was a wide, spacious classroom. A large white board made up most of the front wall, where she had written "Ms. Morgan" in large letters and underneath "Please place your bags in the bag racks and sit in a circle". The back wall was a gigantic collage of photos from past shows the school had done, some old posters promoting them were peeling to show gaps of bright yellow paint underneath. Jo, however paid no more attention to the back and front walls: instead she looked out the massive glass window that was the wall to her left.
She had an impressive view of the quad: she could see the children finally packing up and saying quick goodbyes as the sound of the bell drew closer. She had a lesson planned out for months, and lesson after that, and the lesson after that... All there was to do was wait for this year's class to turn up.

Daimen strode up to the door, checking his schedule once again. Yeah this was the classroom, nodding to himself he knocked lightly on the door before opening it. He cleared his throat as to seeing his teacher Ms. Morgan--His schedule had her name in it and it was also up on the board-, was looking out the glass window which was purely incredible to him." Excuse me, are you Ms.Morgan?" He asked with a gentle, quiet tone looking at the said teacher. Daimen was making sure this was the teacher of the class, not just some other one who was watching her class for her. Meanwhile, His hand still hung loosely on the handle of the door, in wait of a response.

Jo turned away from the window, hearing a knock behind her. Her smile grew, and she mentally wrestled with her excitement. Her first student! The early bird! Her insides danced around merrily… Yet, on the surface, she was as cool as a pond being lapped by the breeze. The door opened, and a boy, only slightly shorter than her with a punk hairstyle entered the room and cleared his throat. Jo spoke no response to his question, but she nodded with a friendly grin. She walked over to the whiteboard and tapped the writing underneath her name. Please place your bags in the bag racks and sit in a circle.
She indicated the bag racks that were situated against the back wall before she sat down at her desk beside the whiteboard, twiddling her thumbs with mixed feelings of nerves and excitement.

Daimen nodded, walking to the back of the room and placing his bag on the rack. He made sure to shut off his cell phone and stuck it inside of the from pocket of his bag. Daimen had always been serious when it came to acting. Before turning around, his eyes glanced around the classroom, observing it and especially all the photos. His teacher seemed friendly enough, and the past show pictures were pleasantly giving off a exciting effect. As he turned towards Ms.Mogran he put on a small smile." You have a very nice room Ms.Morgan, I'm Daimen Sherelds. Pleasure to have your acquaintance." His hand ran through his already messy hair, and he had spoke in the same quiet tone as before. He remembered the ending to the instructions, and immediately towards the middle of the room sat down.

Jo smiled as he introduced himself in a quiet voice, and made a mental note to herself that she needed to work on his voice projection. She nodded to him silently again, feeling not quite ready to reveal the surprise yet. It was best to wait for the rest of the class to arrive… She wiped her palms on her dress as she tried to shake off more nerves. Joanne checked her watch. Only 5 minutes until the bell…
-------------------------------
Nat air-guitared her way through the halls, head banging to her headphones as she ran to her class. She sang to herself as she made a left turn to her next class…which was…. That was the problem. Nat had no idea what she had next, but she really didn’t care. She just knew the classroom was at the end of this hall. “To bury the castle…bury the castle…Ba da ba ba da ba…” She sang along to her headphones. She finally got to her classroom and took her headphones off and switched off her iPod as she kicked open the door and walked in.
Natalie looked around for a quick moment before realizing her class for the period was Drama. She smiled. A bludge subject! She grinned mischievously at the quiet woman in her desk, which she presumed was her new teacher. “Hey miss!” she greeted her teacher as if she had known her all her life.
Joanne smiled and indicated the board. Natalie did as she was told, and took a seat next to the other student in the room. She glanced at him quickly, and decided to make conversation. “Hey,” was all she said.

Daimen had watched Nat come into the classroom, from the moment she kicked the door in until she sat next to him. He tapped his knee with one of his fingers to an unheard beat and In definant surprising curiousity he asked: "Jenna?.....Wait no your not Jenna...." He frowned shaking his head." You look like.....Your her sister aren't you?" He asked, it was totally obvious though.

She sighed. “No, it’s me,” Natalie said without a smirk. She acted as convincingly as she could. “Nat’s hidden my clothes somewhere in the dorm so I had to wear her clothes… I don’t look like an idiot in them, do I?” Nat fiddled with her gloves unconfidently, keeping a worried look on her face. She didn’t know who this boy was, but she was hoping the real Jenna didn’t turn up soon so she could have her fun…

" Of course not Jenna!" Daimen said with a light smile." You never look like an idiot, your as beautiful as always." He said patting her hands." I was just....surprised that you were dressed like this that made me think you were someone else. No worries, I've missed you though. Good thing we're in the same class huh?" He asked, not suspecting it was someone else anymore.

Jenna paced down the hallway, wondering if Nat had gotten to class yet. She, of course, knew exactly where she was going, since she had memorized a map of the school the night before. She quickly found the Drama classroom, and stuck her head inside. Nat was already there. And so was Daimen. Oops. She had had no idea he was in this class! How could she miss that?! She quickly brushed herself off, straightened her black corset, and strode into the room with more confidence than she posessed. "Hi Daimen!" she said with a sweet smile. "I didn't know you were in this class!"

Daimen looked over at Jenna, then at Nat, then back at Jenna. CONFUSION! " Wait.....Jen--na....?" He asked her before looking back at Nat." You said you were Jenna!" He exclaimed frowning at Nat. Daimen rubbed his temples." You damn lier......" He mumbled to himself shaking his head, already begining to have a headache." I Knew something was different about you........" Daimen sighed looking up at Jenna." I didn't know you were in this class either!......And Apparently your sister is too."

Jenna looked between the two of them in confusion. "She told you she was me? Nat!" she admonished her sister. Turning back to Daimen, she said with a sigh, "I apologize for my sister's behavior. We are all pranksters, but she is by far the worst. She shot a teasing glare at her sister, but inside her stomach was clenching. How much had Nat said to him before she walked in? How much had he said to her? Just then, the door opened again, and a new girl came it.
Kate poked her way down the hall, gazing at the ceiling and whistling tunelessly. Without any apparent effort, she appeared in the drama room. She looked at the board, tilted her head to one side, then meandered to the back. She set her small bookbag down, then pulled her hair over one shoulder to reveal the small monkey who clung to her back. She gently pried him off and sat him on top of her bookbag. "Stay here, Squee," she murmured softly to him, petting him with one finger before turning to look at the room with wide, childlike eyes.

Natalie tensed a little as the unknown boy placed his hands on hers. She raised an eyebrow, but no one could see her eyebrows with her fringe in the way…She forced herself to smile back, her lips briefly twitching to a smirk as she felt the character slowly fade from her. “Yeah, it’s a really good thing.” Nat continued to force a smile. “I’ve missed you too.” He’s probably that dude Jen met from the dance…What’s-his-name…Damien? Or something like that…Eh, fuck it…
“Hi Damien! I didn't know you were in this class!"A voice just like hers came from behind them. “Aw, fuck.” Natalie swore in a low voice, looking over to Miss sitting in her desk. Jo was sitting at her desk, soundlessly writing something on a paper. She looked over to the mystery boy. “Ah! Daimen! I knew it was something like Damien…” Nat pushed Daimen’s hands roughly off hers. She edged slightly away from him so there was enough room for Jenna to sit in between them, and cackled playfully at the dumbfounded Daimen, clapping her hands with glee. “Me? A liar?” she sneered. “Nah man, just getting into the spirit of drama! Acting and all that shit…” “I apologize for my sister's behavior. We are all pranksters, but she is by far the worst.”
“Ah, well, I’m not fucking sorry,” she said, softly laughing to herself. “’Cause I just met Jen’s dirty little secret…I’ll tell everyone, and no, I’m sure not gonna regret…” Nat laughed continued to sing her improvised lyrics as another student entered the room. “Look on the bright side, Jen! I know who I’m directing my death threats at!” She flashed a set of teeth, and, for a very short second, a serious glare flashed on her face, but it disappeared as fast as it came.
--------------------------------------
Jo paid little attention to the next student who came in, who simply said “Hey Miss”, and sat down next to Daimen. She too was dressed with a punkish flair. Joanne sighed to herself, but no sound escaped her. Teenagers…they all dressed too oddly these days… She turned her attention to her lesson plan, and then checked the time. Not even a minute had passed! She shook her head at herself. You’re panicking too much, Jo. She told herself. They’ll all come in due time. Still shaking her head, Joanne poured herself a cup of tea from the teapot on her desk, sipping it quietly before beginning to plan out lessons for the months to come...
A short time later, Jo looked up. Another girl had entered, she looked identical to the last one. Twins! Jo's face wrinkled with a smile. She'd have to learn their names quickly... And then, yet another girl entered the room. She looked young and innocent, she was most likely a new student to the school. Jo grinned at her and waved.

Kate gave a winningly sweet, shy smile and a tiny wave back at the teacher. She sat down in a corner and tucked her feet under her, looking entirely too young to be in High School. But beneath the young, innocent facade, her dark eyes assessed the room, taking in minute details of every person in it, and committing them to memory.

Dyniste made his way quietly into the room in the usual attire not long after the tardy bell had rung. He fiddled with his hair, tenderly, with one hand, holding his materials, consisting mostly of paper he assumed to be blank and a fountain pen, in the other. He somewhat resented that he was late for the first class, but excused it with being preoccupied by other means. Other means being a young couple in the midst of bonding despite the seconds being devoured by a clock, he was satisfied with said excuse and a light grin made it's way on his face. He covered his mouth to quiet himself as a soft laugh made it's way through his thin lips, and he closed his eyes to keep anybody from misunderstanding though it may have been a misunderstanding in itself. "Sorry," he mouthed quietly, not wanting to disturb the classroom quite yet with his presence.
Once he'd opened his eyes he analyzed his surroundings, mostly girls, a set of twins, one person distinguishably male, a female he assumed to be the teacher, and inanimate objects that he could care less about if they hadn't provided him with the smooth surface on which he could write. A perfect harem, it seemed. Almost. As usual it seemed to have chosen it's own path and he gave a light sigh, knowing that it was too late to harass others to a point of crimson red for embarrassment.

The very sound of the bell made her spring up from her chair. Jo surveyed her class, and still most of the class hadn’t shown up. She ignored this, and turned away from her class to write on the board. She erased her name and instructions, and began to write what would soon be a very long explanation.
Good Afternoon, darlings. Welcome to your first drama class for the year! I hope you’re all excited as I am. Now, I’m sure you’re wondering why I’m not talking. When I was younger I had my larynx removed due to cancer. I’m healthy and fit as a fiddle now, but as a result I haven’t spoken a word since.
You are very welcomed to ask questions, you have the right to know as my students, but what is not welcomed in this classroom is any discrimination, what so ever. This doesn’t apply to only me: you are not allowed to discriminate against anyone in the classroom.
In this unit, you’ll all be working as a theatre company. But before we go into this, we ought to learn each other’s names. So, what we’ll be doing is just a quick introduction. So, starting with the gentleman next to me… You: Hey, my name is (your name)! Class: Hey, (name)! You: Let’s all (do some sort of action)! Class: Yes! Let’s! …And the entire class will do that action, no matter what the person says.
When she was sure everyone had read her instructions, she pointed to Daimen, signaling him to start.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
By the time Natalie had finished wiping tears of laughter from her eyes, she turned her head at the teacher the moment the bell rang. But the woman dressed in green wasn’t in her desk, but writing out a lengthy paragraph on the board. Instantly, Natalie's posture began to slump. “Jen…I’m too lazy to read, just tell me what it says…” she groaned, resting her head on Jenna’s shoulder in an exhausted way, which was an odd parallel to her flirtatious spirit. She didn’t want to piss off Daimen too quickly. Nat shut her eyes, and for a moment, she felt herself dozing off. This class seemed particularly easy to bludge. Maybe it was because the teacher wasn’t barking out orders left, right, and centre…in fact, Natalie hadn’t actually heard her new teacher speak since she first got here... “Hey, Jen…” she murmured quietly into her sister’s ear, her eyes still shut as she leaned against her. “Why hasn’t Miss said ‘nythin’ yet?”
