A notice on the door of Ms. Morgan's classroom:
HAVE YOU SIGNED UP FOR DRAMA CLASS YET?
In a few days, Drama classes will start in this classroom. There are three different classes covering different fields in theatre.
CLASS ONE - DRAMA A - ACT UP!
Drama A is recommended for beginners. This work will focus on improvisational theatre (some good examples are the T.V shows "Whose Line it is Anyway?" and "Thank God You're Here"). After being assessed on your improvisation skills, the course will move onto working on performing scripted pieces. Some of you may be doing your assessment piece along with those in the DRAMA C class, if you choose to audition.
CLASS TWO - DRAMA B - PEN TO PAPER
Recommended for people who are interested in script writing, also recommended for students who aren't beginners, but aren't experts. Drama B focuses on script writing for plays. Students will submit a sample scene as well as an overall storyline for their assessment. One lucky script will be chosen to be the play performed by the DRAMA C class. Students in this class are also allowed to audition for DRAMA C's performance piece.
NOTE: Due to lack of interest, Drama B is cancelled. All Drama B students will be bumped up to Drama C, which now goes by the name of Drama B.
CLASS THREE -DRAMA C DRAMA B - A NIGHT AT THE THEATRE
Drama C is recommended for students who really know drama, and who are interested in backstage work. Drama C doesn't only focus on what goes on the stage, but what goes on behind the scenes. Drama C will act as a theatre company, and will put on a show as a class by themselves using a small budget. There are limited spots available for this class. Other classes may audition as ACTORS ONLY.
(PS: I'm very sorry to the confused girls who turned up to class a few days ago, I didn't show up due to some confusion of timetables with the school's Dean)
To sign up for a class, please write your preferred full name, year, and desired class below:
(just post your character's name, desired class and year below)
