Bradley strolled into the Pizzeria, waiting for his friends. He saw an empty booth, and sat down, pulling out his phone to pass the time. "Man, what a drag, this freaking thing doesn't ever turn on!" He mumbled, his phone had been on the fritz, well, that's what you get from an I-phone, I mean, really? 400 bucks for a piece of plastic that doesn't work, even when charged for twelve hours? Ugh, it disgusted him. "Hello, may I take your order?" The waitress had come to see him. " No thanks, i'm waiting for some friends" Was his immediate reaction, and she left. "DAMN MACHINE! Eh, well, I'll just get a Hero" He hated Macs, and it was only because he had gotten one from a tournament that he kept it around. He loved the Android system, and wanted a new phone very badly. He saw the lady coming near again, and tensed, about to flip her off.

Charlie shoved open the door to the pizzaria, inhaling the wonderful scents. She looked around, but she didn't see any empty tables, and everyone was sitting with someone else. Except for one guy. She strolled over to stand next to his booth. "Hey, care if i join you? Every other table's full," she asked casually.

" Sure, sit on down. Wait a tick... CHARLIE STRICKLAND?? OH MY GOD! It's Bradley Hellfire, from Elementary school, we used to be really close friends, remember?" Bradley knew her, and was so shocked that she hadn't recognized him, they had almost gotten fake-married in Pre-K. He put away his phone, and slid aside.

Charlie stared at him for a moment, before her face lit up in recognition. "OH MY GOD BRADLEY?! Of course I remember! I remember our almost-wedding too!" she exclaimed, laughing. "I haven't seen you in forever, dude, how've you been?"

"I've been good, my martial arts career has really taken off. I've been in many tournaments, and I've almost won first prize in internationals." He was so excited, he hadn't seen her in SO LONG! "Well, you know, I remember that day too, and I can't believe you're here! I was at Epson a while ago, but I had to drop out, the martial arts program there wasn't good enough." He started rambling, recounting everything that had happened, a long string of trophies, and sadness.

"Wow, that's amazing! I'm glad it's gone so well for you!" Charlie exclaimed happily. She stretched for something to tell him that didn't involve hospitals, surgeries, and near-death experiences."

"Charlie, what's your deal, you were never this quiet before." Bradley spoke quietly, and softly. "did something happen?" He asked, concerned, truly. He had already almost lost someone dear to him, only a few weeks before, and he didn't want that happening again.

Charlie frowned. "Dude, lighten up. Elementary school was a long time ago, I've grown up a bit. You never used to be this much of a worrier!" she teased lightly.

"It's just some stuff has happened recently, I don't want to talk about it. But, you know, I just want to make sure nothing happened to one of my closest friends." Bradley piped up, thinking that it would be best if he simply forgot about Carter for the time being. "I'm guessing you don't know about my brother Carter" He mumbled, quietly.

"I remember Carter. Why, what happened?" Charlie asked, concerned for him. He looked really upset about something. She would have to tell him about the heart stuff at some point, she knew, but now didn't seem like the time.

"he's gone a little unstable since I saw him last, it has alot to do with our parents being dead and getting rejected by the girl he was massively crushing on." Bradley blinked the tears back, family was very emotional for him. "He tried to kill himself a few weeks ago. I'm just glad we were able to get him back. That dumbass." Bradley felt a single tear form in his eye, and roll down his cheek, before he wiped it away, quickly.

Charlie quickly moved to sit beside him and wrapped her arms around him. "Oh, Brad, I'm so sorry. Is there anything I can do?" she asked softly.

"It's fine, he's stable, I think, but it's nice to know other people care. I don't mean to drag you down, it's my own issue, I should deal with it" Bradley wiped his eyes, and smiled, trying to hide his rather obvious pain at his brother's mental state.

Charlie shook her head firmly. "No. You are my friend, which means it's also my issue, to help you with."

"No, don't worry about it he's doing better, he's over her now." Bradley spoke quickly, and smiled, his voice cracking as he spoke. "Don't worry about it, I shouldn't have brought it up, I should forget about it, and so should you. Just, well, forget I said anything" He chuckled.
