Mia took in a deep breath as she saw what the girl did and her teeth clenched into a hard grimace. But she didn't judge yet, she just stood quietly, looking. Looking, of course, for Zack's reaction. But she had already suspected what kind of boy he was.

Vasilissa looks down feeling ashamed she let this other girl have this effect on her. Letting his reaction to this other girl have this effect on her. She drops to the ground and crosses her legs indian style and rips the grass from its holding place in the ground. 'How the grass is rooted here and can be ripped from its place in seconds." She mumbles. She hopes he will sit with her.

Zack shook his head. She needed time to calm down, and he seriously needed time to figure out why, out of all the girls he had flirted with, Mia was the one he was strangely attracted to. "Vasilissa, I'm going to go. Take a deep breath, chill out for a bit, okay? I'll see you around." He turned and walked down the trail, a confused and slightly anxious look on his face, for the first time in his life. He knew Vasilissa couldn't see the look on his face. What he didn't know was that Mia could.

Mia froze suddenly as Zack passed mere metres from her hiding place. She then cursed as she realize Bird was a bit further along on the trail, and began running. She reached her horse before Zack did and issued a silent, breathless thank you as she grabbed Bird's mane and started running, telling him to run. And oh, he did. Mia smiled gratefully and let go of his mane, letting him run by himself as she dived into the bushes.

"Okay. I guess I will see you later. Bye, Love." Vasilissa watched as he walked away into the walk area that will lead him away from her forever. She drops her gaze to the ground. She slowly starts singing to herself thinking well he was gone from her. "For all I have have been blessed with in my life. There was an emptiness in me, I was imprisoned by the power of gold. Then one thing touch you set me free. Let the world stop turning, let the sun stop burning. Let them tell me Loves not worth going through. If it all falls apart I will know deep in my heart the only thing that matters has come true. In this Life I was loved by you...." She continued singing to herself calming herself.

Zack didn't hear her. He did hear hoofbeats, but they were moving away, so he assumed it was Mia on her way back to the stables. He got sufficiently out of range of Vasilissa, then stepped into the woods, and found a large rock, which he sat down in, putting his head in his hands. "Why? Why now? Why her?" he muttered to himself, feeling...scared. It was a foreign emotion to him, and he didn't like it. Not one bit.

Mia cursed in her head as Zack sat on a rock a few metres in front of her. She couldn't get away without Zack hearing her. So she settled in, expecting to be there for a while, feeling quite miserable. She liked Zack, but she had also seen how that girl had looked at him in the clearing. Mia had no right.

"Goddamn it!" Zack cursed, rubbing his head with his hand. "Why? Why do you have to complicate my life now?" he growled, looking up toward the treetops. He was not a religious person, and generally didn't believe in God, but it seemed convenient just now.

Mia rubbed her bare arms as the air began to get a bit colder, raising goosebumps on her arms. Just as she had been falling asleep, a yell from the rock made her jump. She shook her head as Zack yelled at something, her eyes half closed, wondering when he would leave and she would be able to leave as well.

Zack groaned and stood up. He slowly made his way back to the trail, looking rather dejected.

Mia let out a big breath she hadn't realized she had been holding. Relieved, she stood up and started running in the direction of the stable, not along the trail, of course. Making quite a bit of noise but hoping the noise could pass for a wild animal, she finally arrived at the stable, breathless and slightly exhilirated. What a rush, she though to herself as she brought Bird into his stall and started grooming him.
