He took his other hand and placed it in the small of her back. "You never said we were slow dancing, I can do this" he Replied. Taking the lead he started to move them around the small confines of the room.

"well not exactly, but I was thinking more along the lines of hip hop" as the song came to a end he removed his hand form her back. "thankfully I was wrong" He took her hand in both of his and look into her eyes "thank you for the dance".

When it came to an end, Steffy gave him a smile " No thank you, the last time i slow danced i couldn't feel my toes if you know what i mean, you cured my slow dancing phobia...Doctor " she added, not realising that they were still holding hands.

Alex laughed "I don't mind if you break everything as long as it is on that side of the room" He gestured towards his roommates things and away from his corner of the room. As the next song started, Alex bowed down and kissed Steffy's hand "Would you be so gracious as to join me for another dance".

Steffy looked at the other side of the room, smiling "Such a good room mate" she said sarcastically.
She looked at the radio then back at him, "I thought we agreed on one but what the heck" she laughed, "Why I'd be honored" she said, curtsying again, almost falling down.

"there is nothing that great about me so Alex will suffice" replied Alex. by this time the second song was winding down. as the last note echoed from the speakers He did a polite bow to his partner than returned to his bed for his bottle of water. He finished off the content of the bottle in one long draw.
Glancing at the clock Alex was surprised to see how much time him and Stephanie had spent together already. "would you like to go out and get something to eat"
