Scarlet stared at Briars face. "I, I think....." She said. She didn't want to hurt Briar. She never did. "I-I'm not.... I can't handle being......" She had no idea how to say this. She knew full well she still liked Zack. Maybe she wasn't bi? Maybe. "I mean... I don't know...." She said tears driping down her face. She sighed and spit it out." I don't think I can be you're girlfriend anymore...." She said

Briar stared at her for a second, her words sinking in. Then she nodded curtly. "Alright, if that's the way you wanted. Go running to him. Maybe he'll give you whatever it is you want. See you later, Scarlet." she stood up and very calmly walked away. She knew she should feel crushed, broken, but she didn't. For some odd reason she just felt...numb. Like the world had ceased to affect her. As she walked, she put her fingers to her wrist, just to see if her heart still existed, because she could no longer feel it. No feelings of brokenness, no empty hole, just numbness.

Scarlet stared at her leaving. She closed her eyes slowly. Her tears falling. WOuld she ever run out of tears to cry. She got up and stared walking. Her heart kept pulling her to Zack. SHe would apolagize. Maybe they could be together. He would at least be there...
