Briar let herself into the gym, turning on the lights only in the corner with the uneven bars, so that the rest of the gym was dark, setting off the bars as though they were under a spotlight. She slipped off her shoes, put chalk on her hands, and hoisted herself up to stand for a moment on the lower bar, before she put her arms out and fell forward, catching herself on the higher bar and swinging around, her body stick-straight, to do a handstand on the bar. She held this position for a moment, turned her hands so she was facing the other direction, then swung again and did a flip in the air before landing in a handstand on the lower bar, her legs in a 'V'.

Scarlet saw a big building with the label "Gym" on it. She felt strangly atraccted to it. She walk inside and saw the lights where already on and a girl was in there doing gymnastics. She smiled and watched her. she was very good. She wanted to say somthing but wasn't sure how to start.

Briar was so swept up in what she was doing that she didn't notice Scarlet walk in. She expanded the 'V' until she was doing an upside-down split. Then she closed her legs so she was straight up in the air. She balanced on one hand, then pivoted so that she was once again facing the higher bar, still on her hands. She once again lowered her legs into an upside-down split, then jumped forward and caught the high bar with her hands. She swung out and did a front flip, catching the bar again and swinging into another handstand.

Scarlet watches in amazment. The way her body bends, is so spectacular to watch. Then she starts to feel a tickle in her nose and she starts to inhale when- "ACHOOOO!" She thunders. her face starts to turn red.

Briar, startled, lost her balance and landed on the mat below her. She looked at the stranger, her face turning red. She had never shown anyone her gymnastics before, and she hadn't known she was being watched. "Who are you and how long have you been standing there?" she asked the girl, trying not to seem angry. ((Try to make your posts in past tense.  )) |

"Uhhh, A while." She said and looked down. "I'm sorry, I should go." She mumbled and started to leave. No one was going to like her at this new school. No one. She just just leave, she will anyways. She always leaves.

She smiled "Scarlet" She said and walked closer, slowly. "Whats you're name." She asked and lok at her dirty shoes from walking around in the mud. She put her hands in her dress pocket and bite her lip trying to decide how she shoulkd act? Should she be herself or someone else. People might not like her if she's herself, but then she might get caught.

She smiled. That was one of the nicer things people have said to her. She feels her depression weeken for a little. Maybe this will work. She looks at her. "Same" She says and then looks down "Want to go somewhere else?" She asked. She started to get very hungry and felt the hungry pains she always got.

"Hmmmm," She wondered. "I'm not sure, I'm new to the area, wheres good?" She asked and finallly made it up to standing in front of Brie, instede of across the Gym.

"Well there's the Dining Hall, if you haven't had lunch, there's always the beach of course, we could go up to the dorms, we could stay here, I don't know. What do you like to do?" Briar asked, beginning to be more at ease with this girl.
